OrtoRomi exhibits at Fruit Logistica 2019
OrtoRomi, the third top player in Italy of the IV range fruit and vegetable market, confirms its presence at the 27th edition of Fruit Logistica, the most important international fair dedicated to the sector, which will be held in Berlin from 6 to 8 February 2019.
Participation in the most renowned trade fairs is a fundamental part of OrtoRomi’s communication strategy. In just 4 years, the young Insal’Arte brand was able to attack the market and make a significant contribution to the company’s turnover, which at the end of 2018 stood at 105 million euros, an increase of almost 13% compared to the 2017.
Double-digit growth results, therefore, for a company that for over 20 years has dedicated itself to the production of I and IV range salads and has been able to respond promptly with its own brand of excellence to market trends and the evolution of consumption styles.
Also this year OrtoRomi will set up a large stand of 114 square meters, designed to give full visibility and visibility to the numerous products under the Insal’Arte brand. Open on 3 sides, the exhibition space will host 4 large refrigerators of 1.6 m that will present the whole OrtoRomi range: the IV range salads, the “Pausa Pranzo” bowls, the fruit and vegetable extracts, the IGP radicchi, the soups, minestrone and cream made with selected raw materials.
Fruit Logistica 2019 will be the occasion to exhibit for the first time the complete soup line, a wide assortment consisting of 9 soups and 6 past. Particular emphasis will be given to the latest references launched, such as the Tuscan soup with kale and the past of radicchio and beans. There is no lack of news on the front of fruit and vegetable extracts, 2 new products that enrich the range of 500 ml proposals: the 100% Apple Pink extract, the result of the partnership signed with Pink Lady, and 100% Red Orange of Sicily PGI, born from the collaboration with the Consortium of protection of the Red Orange of Sicily PGI.
Two new classic flavors that perfectly complement the already rich offer, made up of innovative and unpublished flavors, such as ginger, spirulina and turmeric, and more traditional proposals such as peach or strawberry.
“Now the Berlin event is a regular event that allows us to start the year giving an international dimension to our reality. As usual, a stand with attention to detail and great visibility to our products are key aspects that will not fail. Two murals will be dedicated to the exposition of the IV gamma salads, our core business since always, while the other 2 will be dedicated to soups and extracts, the two markets in which we strongly believed and that we have recently developed.
The expansion of the range testifies to the constant aspiration to the highest quality that permeates all company choices, “says Martina Boromello, Head of Marketing and Communication.
Insal’Arte extracts will be the basic ingredient of a cocktail selection, specially designed for OrtoRomi by barman Diego Cesarato, who has created 5 recipes that will delight and amaze the visitors’ palate: some examples are the OrtoRomi Mule, with extract ginger, vodka, lime juice and ginger beer Thomas Henry, the Red Fruit Logistica, with extracts of lemon, orange and red fruits mixed with Whiskey bourbon bulleit and passion fruit and Gin Insal’Arte with lemon extract, Gin O’ndina with basil and fresh mint.
As usual, a gastronomic corner will be set up inside the stand where it will be possible to taste the dishes created ad hoc by the chef of OrtoRomi with the Insal’Arte products, and which will be offered to those who will visit the exhibition space. Of course, some of the Insal’Arte soups, magazines by the chef with creative ideas and touches of originality, are also included in the daily menus.
Fruit Logistica is confirmed for OrtoRomi an important strategic appointment to reaffirm and consolidate the constant path of research and innovation that characterizes the company’s DNA.
